The Never Go Back Project

A joint effort of:

  • Middlesex County Chapter of the NJ National Organization for Women

  • RU Choice, the Rutgers University Vox Chapter of Planned Parenthood

In the face of escalating anti-choice attacks on women's reproductive rights, we need to hear the voices of women who lived in the pre-Roe v. Wade era. We have recorded these stories to share with post-Roe generations to underscore the consequences of losing the rights we won with Roe.  Middlesex County NOW and RU Choice are working together to bring these women's stories forward in the hope that we will NEVER GO BACK.

A video was added on March 24, 2013, and is so-indicated below.  All the videos are now part of a YouTube "channel" and a link for that is given below, as well.

Judi's Story:  She was 16 years old when she was raped by a family acquaintance.  She found an illegal abortionist, but anesthesia was by a knock-out punch.  And she almost died of sepsis.
